Numbers 3 6 2 For Macos Update
Keynote 6.6, Pages 5.6, Numbers 3.6, and iWork for iOS 2.6
Numbers can be installed on Mac OS X 10.10 or later. This free Mac app was originally produced by Apple Inc. The most popular versions of the application are 3.5, 3.2 and 2.3. The unique identifier for this app's bundle is com.apple.iWork.Numbers. Numbers for Mac is categorized as Productivity Tools. We’ve redesigned Pages, Numbers, and Keynote to work even better with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Now, more features are supported, including commenting, conditional formatting, and bubble charts. And each update adds greater compatibility. From 2001 to 2012, OS X was code-named internally (for development purposes) after big cats. Becuase Apple marketing was also using those code-names to promote OS X publicly, however, the company's development crew switched their internal naming structure to wines beginning with OS X 10.3 — publicly known as Panther, privately as 'Pinot.'
Dumbed-down, stripped down version of earlier Numbers version. Still using Numbers 2.3 from iWork 09 bundle. 'Streamlined' app means loss of features, and a more challenging GUI and UX when using the latest versions of Pages/Keynote/Numbers. I am assuming loss of features etc is to ensure compatability with iPad versions of the same apps.
